‘Everyday People’: The Making Of A Stock-Footage Music Video – Shutterstock

As part of a unique collaboration with Sony Music, the brand new video for “Everyday People” by Sly & The Family Stone is comprised of more than 130 clips from the Shutterstock footage collection, along with a selection of archival images of the band. The video emphasizes the powerful message of the song by playfully depicting a day in the life of humanity. The São Paulo-based duo behind the video, Dimitre Lima and Renan Costa Lima, are award-winning visual artists who have been involved with a wide range of inspiring and innovative projects. Sly & The Family Stone’s ‘Everyday People’ Reimagined With Shutterstock – Mashable Video Premiere

A brand new music video for the classic track “Everyday People” premiered on Mashable today! This video collaboration between Shutterstock and Sony Music presents archival “animated” images of the band along with clips from the Shutterstock footage collection, emphasizing the powerful message of the song by playfully depicting a day in the life of people from all over the world, finding surprising threads of commonality across cultures which is the essence of the song.

“Everyday People” is part of Sly & The Family Stone four-CD box set, Higher!, which came out in August.
