Sly & The Family Stone Members To Be Interviewed At Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is staging a variety of free programs related to its interactive exhibit, “Common Ground: The Music Festival Experience.”
The first is at 1 p.m. Friday, June 20, in the Rock Hall’s Foster Theater. Lauren Onkey, the vice president of education and public programs, will interview original Sly & The Family Stone members Cynthia Robinson, Greg Errico and Jerry Martini, who played trumpet, drums and sax, respectively, for rock’s first integrated, multi-gender band.
And they know their festivals, having been part of Woodstock in 1969 and the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival in the United Kingdom. The event is free with a reservation, available at tickets.rockhall.com or at the Rock Hall box office.
